1 3/8" long, diameter approximately 3/8", thread 18-096. This was a special made screw by Singer that screwed into the casting. We have not been able to find a replacement. Best recourse is to purchase a nut (lock nut) and bolt that will go all the way through the casting, this should be readily available at your local hardware store.
