For all center needle low vertical machines, straight stitch or zig-zag. Attachment moves the fabric back and forth. Not happy with your built-in buttonhole system? You will find the Greist/Singer Buttonholer, which has been around many years, a great alternative. Attach to machine with large screw, included, in place of your regular presser foot. Insert template of desired size and style for uniform buttonholes every time. Note: Must drop feed dogs or use feed cover plate supplied with your machine or use the plate supplied with this attachment. A set of five templates are furnished with the attachment: 5/16", 5/8", 13/16", 1 1/16", for straight buttonholes; and 1 1/16" for keyhole type. Keyhole buttonholes are usually placed in suits and coats. Not available for high shank, must use adapter #Fastube-A. Brother LS series: LS1217, LS1520, LS1717, LS2125 and other LS series machines will also need to order Needle Clamp Attachment Screw #54635 "A" for this foot to work correctly
