This foot has black edge fabric guide. Also has wires on foot to help prevent light weight fabric from rolling and creating a ridge. As you sew the needle falls off the fabric wrapping the thread around the raw edge to prevent raveling. NOTE: Must set stitch width so as not to hit wire. No guarantee for breakage.
