Create an open hemstitch or apply lace to the edge of the body of the fabric using a braid or chenille type cord lined up and inserted into the groove of the metal "distance/seperator" (this distance/seperator inserts into the holes in your existing needle plate, these holes in your needle plate are approximately 22cm apart). Creates embellishment to your garment with the look of entredeux when sewing hems and/or attaching lace. Select a zigzag stitch or decorative stitch with a width of 5mm to 6mm.
