New style (ns) mounting bracket. Generic general purpose foot for sewing zig-zag, straight stitches, practical and decorative with forward and reverse design. This design will accept back mount guide and also has side opening for thread to enter under the foot which helps to avoid light weight fabrics from rolling into the center of the foot. PLEASE NOTE: The "new style" (ns) presser foot mounting bracket will have a small notch cut out on the upper back side unlike the "old style" (os) #0025767000. You MUST examine one of your existing feet to determine if you have an "new style" (ns) or a "old style" (os). Your manual may not show this notch. Presser feet listed on our web site will use this method to determine the correct attachments...i.e. (ns) or (os).
